Mining

Working with Canadian based mining companies and consulting engineers, Trydor Industries has
exported electrical line hardware to major projects in Chile and New Guinea and are considered a
major supplier of Trailing Cable Couplers used by many mining operations throughout the world. 
Voltage ratings are available from 600 volts to 8000 volts, with current ratings up to and
including 400 amps.

"Couplers Bring It Together" for electric shovels, electric drills, draglines and pumps in open pit
mines, strip mines and hard rock mining.  Safety, ease of operation and system integrity are the
design criteria of Trydor Industries' trailing cable systems.

Trydor Industries' field engineering team continues to work with customers to improve our coupler
design.

When ordering or enquiring please provide the following information:

    * Model - plug or receptacle
    * Mounting - cable or flange mount
    * Voltage class - 600V, 5000V, 8000V
    * Current rating - 200 amps, 250 amps, 400 amps

Options available:

    a) Receptacle covers with diodes
    b) 1 pilot, 2 grounds
    c) Plate mounted or hockey puck diodes for pump applications
    d) Epoxy coating of castings
